Sifting through photographs on my laptop; came across some stuff I may have not posted before;
my studio view... (which I miss very much)
this was one I was working on late last year;
"They saw us coming, but they did not see us leave"
(weathered box; animal skeleton; bottles; metal; rust etc..)
and this one was another work in progress;
"I lived my life to stand in the shadow of her love"
(model in Vermeer pose; old book pages; bureau drawer)
Musical inspiration..
.. painting, still left in progress;
...
and some random clutter;
Your work is really beautiful. I am awed by "They saw us coming, but they did not see us leave," and "I lived my life to stand in the shadow of her love." Very richly suggestive.
ReplyDeleteYour productive messes make me happy.
Thankyou, I hoped this would be a more positive replacement post.. I have continued to work 'sans-studio' and have various projects that are still 'in progress' - your continued support and interest is instrumental to my ongoing pursuit of the 'richly suggestive' ;) - thankyou, I will for your benefit continue to make a productive mess.
