duplex.

i finished work yesterday (at last) and now
have a few days to catch up. the first thing
was to get my push bike out and go for a ride.

new years day and nobody around, i road 10 miles
to my brothers and only a few cars passed me.
a couple of girls on horses smiled at me, there is
something ethereal about girls on horses, something
pre-raphaelite.. they always seem friendly and smile.

the weather was still, quite warm (for january) and
little streaks of crimson shot through at the base
with a band of mist connecting to the bare flat fields.

plenty ideas forming for some paintings.

i have the images in my mind with that mist enveloping.

  2. Beautiful Post. Sounds so lovely.
Thank you again for your comment on my blog today. I am honored that you look forward to my posts on Friday.

I look forward to your posts too.

I am happy to report I did work today, and it wasn't all that bad. It was a struggle at first, but I stuck with it, and set the groundwork for six small paintings!
I am listening to Blonde Redhead- 23, Film School-Hideout, and of course Interpol (I like to put their song "Untitled" from Turn on the Bright Lights on repeat)

All the best- Until next time.
