It's mother time.

Seven God fearing children bury their dead mother in the back garden,
turn the shed into a shrine & perform seances to ask advice from their
deceased parent...

Does anybody want to speak to mother?
Mother is here...
It's mother time....

Enter a young and 'quietly menacing' Dirk Bogarde as the estranged father...

Brilliantly overlooked classic from 1967.

  3. Maybe the American Netflix is better? I couldn't find this, or a listing for Lina Romay. I was so looking forward to it.

  4. I don't have 'Netflix' although I've heard they have a eclectic seletion on there..
I have a 'keen interest' in what most people would refer to as 'obscure' taste, many of the films I like falling way below the radar of what is commercially available..

but if you know where to look..
