Sunday 5 September 2010

as the day is long.

Spent my Sunday morning installing 14 laser etched
financial times stock listed pieces of work by the
brilliant Gordon Cheung.

These had been collected by myself, my brother &
Chris Boyd on our doomed journey in a hired transit
van to downtown London... where we got utterly lost
and had to abandon the van and walk to his studio.
(Tower Bridge is quiet a lovely bridge, I recommend
travelling over it at least twice whilst lost for
ultimate impact)

Here as some lovely photographs of Gordon's studio.

and the pieces we collected & installed
at the Chaosmos 2010 exhibition;

If you would like one of these wonderful pieces
they would set you back £9k (I want one)
Which means I spent my sunday morning installing
£126,000 worth of artwork.

  1. Installing art is hard work but it can be exciting to be a part of the action. Congratulations on all that you accomplished and all that you now know.

    You amaze and inspire me.

  2. I'd be afraid of bad energy, having devils in my house, but I'm glad I got to see (some of) it.
